That is not a style, it is the constraint the whole range is designed around, because it is the measurement that decides whether a piece of furniture works in a small flat. Eight hundred millimetres is roughly the width of a standard internal door, the width of the gap most people have between a sofa and a wall, and the point past which a piece stops reading as part of the room and starts reading as an obstacle. Designing to it is harder than designing without it and it is the only interesting thing about furniture for small spaces.

Specification

Dimensions: 800mm module grid, nothing over 800mm wide in any single piece

Floor footprint: about 1.7 square metres

Material: moisture resistant MDF sprayed in a two pack polyurethane, which is harder than a brushed finish and will not chip on a door edge

Finish: one finish across the whole system

Capacity: bed platform rated to 200kg, storage modules to 40kg each

Assembly: flat packed, two people, about five hours

Getting it in: Flat packed in 8 cartons, largest 820mm by 1300mm by 380mm. It is two screws. If drilling is out of the question, the freestanding version of this piece is listed alongside it and does the same job with a slightly larger footprint.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0985/0499/9240/files/Compact_Living_System_Loft_Bed_and_Working_Space_System_in_Painted_MDF.jpg?v=1789051199
https://nooknestly.com/products/compact-living-system-loft-bed-and-working-space-system-in-painted-mdf
