That is not a style, it is the constraint the whole range is designed around, because it is the measurement that decides whether a piece of furniture works in a small flat. Eight hundred millimetres is roughly the width of a standard internal door, the width of the gap most people have between a sofa and a wall, and the point past which a piece stops reading as part of the room and starts reading as an obstacle. Designing to it is harder than designing without it and it is the only interesting thing about furniture for small spaces.

Specification

Dimensions: console 700mm by 300mm by 780mm, tables 450, 400 and 350mm wide

Floor footprint: 0.21 square metres for the console, tables nest inside it

Material: solid American black walnut, finished in hardwax oil, which darkens very little because walnut arrives dark

Finish: hardwax oiled, legs in your chosen finish

Capacity: 25kg per table, 45kg on the console

Assembly: flat packed, about 40 minutes for the set

Getting it in: Flat packed in 2 cartons, largest 760mm by 800mm by 340mm.
