nest-of-two-tables-in-solid-walnut-450mm-wide
Nest of Two Tables in Solid Walnut 450mm Wide

Two tables that sit inside each other and take the floor area of one. The pair most people should buy, because a nest of three usually means one table nobody ever pulls out. Largest table 450mm wide, which is under a standard door and under most gaps between a sofa and a wall.

Everything we sell is under 800mm wide. That is not a style, it is the constraint the whole range is designed around, because it is the measurement that decides whether a piece of furniture works in a small flat. Eight hundred millimetres is roughly the width of a standard internal door, the width of the gap most people have between a sofa and a wall, and the point past which a piece stops reading as part of the room and starts reading as an obstacle. Designing to it is harder than designing without it and it is the only interesting thing about furniture for small spaces.

Specification

Dimensions: largest 450mm wide by 350mm deep by 520mm high, smallest 400mm wide

Floor footprint: 0.16 square metres nested

Material: solid American black walnut, finished in hardwax oil, which darkens very little because walnut arrives dark

Finish: hardwax oiled or sprayed, legs in your chosen finish

Capacity: 25kg per table evenly distributed

Assembly: flat packed, about 20 minutes for the set

Getting it in: Flat packed in 1 carton, largest 510mm by 560mm by 120mm.
