Box Rooms and Second Bedrooms

The room that was a box room on the floor plan and is now somebody's bedroom. Usually between 6 and 8 square metres, usually with the door opening inward and the radiator under the window.

The arithmetic is brutal and worth doing before you buy anything: a double mattress is 135 × 190cm, a small double is 120 × 190cm, and the 15cm between them is often the difference between having a bedside table and not having one. You need 700mm down the side you get out of and make the bed, and 600mm at the foot.

Which is why this collection leans on 300mm bedside tables, 600mm wardrobes and beds with drawers underneath. Will It Fit? has the full clearance table.
