Rattan and Ash
Cane webbing panels in ash frames. It's the lightest-looking storage we make — a cane-fronted cupboard reads as half the visual weight of a solid door, which is why it works in a small room where a run of solid fronts would feel like a wall.
Dry rooms only. Cane webbing sags in humidity and spots with damp, so no bathrooms, no conservatories, and not hard against a radiator. It is also not a dust-proof front — that's the trade-off for the lightness.
Dust it with a soft brush rather than a cloth, which catches in the weave.
