Narrow Wardrobes
600, 700 and 800mm wide, all at 560mm deep — which is the shallowest a wardrobe can be and still hang a coat hanger square. Anything shallower has to hang clothes front-to-back, which halves what fits.
Before you order, check three things: the door swing (a 600mm door needs 600mm of clear floor in front of it), the ceiling height including the coving, and whether the piece will go up your stairs — a wardrobe is the item most likely to fail on the half-landing. Will It Fit? shows you how to check.
If there are small children in the home, strap it to the wall. Whatever the label says. It's four small holes and we explain why on the renting page.
