The thing worth understanding about folding furniture is that you're buying the folded dimension, not the open one. A folding wall desk is a 100mm-deep panel for twenty-two hours a day, and that is what it does for the room — not what it does for your laptop.
So check both numbers before you order, and check the swing. A piece that opens into a doorway or a walkway gets folded away permanently within a month.
