Working From Home
Almost nobody in a small flat has a spare room for a desk, so this collection is mostly about desks that disappear: folding wall desks, fold-down desk cabinets, console desks shallow enough to live in a living room, and corner desks for the one bit of wall nobody else wants.
Two figures worth knowing. A desk needs 800mm behind it for a chair to be pushed back and used. And a folding wall desk needs a wall that can carry it — these are wall-fixed, we say so on every one, and the renting page explains what that means if you don't own the flat.
If you and somebody else both work from home, look at the two-person working packages rather than buying two desks.
