Chests of Drawers
Four, five and six drawers at 600, 700 and 800mm wide, plus a tall six-drawer at 500mm for when the floor is the thing you haven't got.
Tall and narrow stores the same clothes in less floor — but it is also the shape that tips. Fix tall chests to the wall wherever there are small children, using the anti-tip strap supplied. The relevant standard, BS EN 14749, includes wall-attachment requirements for exactly this reason, and no freestanding design is a match for a toddler climbing an open drawer.
Load the bottom drawers heaviest. It is the cheapest stability there is.
