Comes Apart for the Next Move

Knock-down fittings that undo and re-tighten, rather than glued joints that go together once.

The average private tenancy doesn't last long, so this is designed in rather than accidental: cam locks and threaded inserts instead of glue and dowel, modules instead of monoliths, and spare fittings kits on sale because one lost cam lock is what usually ends a flat-pack unit's life.

Two things make the second assembly as good as the first: don't over-tighten cam locks (firm, not maximum), and keep every fitting in one labelled bag per unit when you take it apart. Assembly & Care has the rest.
